Film Production

In February 1992, I wrote and co-produced a drama, "Dumped On," about a thrill-seeking woman who is attracted to a “normal guy” after her player boyfriend dumps her, for Capital Cities/ABC that aired on its Philadelphia affiliate, WPVI. Co-wrote a song for the soundtrack, “Fool of My Love,” with Monnette Sudler –Honesty.

In 1996 I wrote and produced the short film, "People Like Me," featuring Elizabeth Banks, that challenges the myth of racial purity in vignettes that illustrate society’s preoccupation with skin color and stereotypes that has been used for diversity training.

I wrote and produced a series of 8 short films

that focuses on moral and Christian-based subject matter including abortion, abstinence before marriage, interracial relationships, proper teen male/female relationships, purity in dating, racism, biblical manhood, and the power of prayer.

The elders, including the pastor, who are contemplating moving the church to a remote suburb is against the idea until a dramatic confrontation between the youth pastor and neighborhood youth illustrates how much the church is needed right where it is.
